Effective Date: May 28, 2026

Joules, LLC ("Joules," "we," "us," or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company located at 30 N Gould St #53802, Sheridan, WY 82801, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our software-as-a-service platform, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you consent to the practices described herein. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

  • Personal Information: When you create an account or use the Service, we may collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing information, and business details.
  • User Data: Data you input or generate, such as sales leads, customer contacts, and updates to homeowner or business owner data (e.g., names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, property details, and estimated financial information from public sources).
  • Joules Data: Data we collect or generate, including scraped public data on homeowners and business owners.
  • Usage Data: Automatically collected information like IP addresses, device type, browser details, usage patterns, and interactions with the Service (e.g., via cookies, logs, or analytics tools).
  • Sensitive Data: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., financial records or health data), but if provided, it will be handled in accordance with this Policy.

How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including AI-driven features, data scraping tools, and mobile app functionality.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, or support.
  • Analyze usage for aggregated insights (e.g., anonymized benchmarks).
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration but may share anonymized data as described below.

How We Share Your Information

We share information only as necessary according to the following:

  • Service Providers: With vendors for hosting, analytics, payment processing, or integrations (e.g., API partners like mapping tools). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit permission.

We do not share User Data for direct marketing without your consent.

Google API Services

Joules integrates with Google Calendar through Google API Services to help sales representatives schedule consultations, check availability, and manage appointments with prospects and customers. This integration is optional and requires your explicit consent through Google's OAuth authorization flow.

Joules's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google Data We Access

When you connect your Google Calendar to Joules, we request the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events: read and write calendar events. Used to create consultation appointments and site survey bookings on your calendar, and to display existing events relevant to your scheduling.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly: read calendar contents. Used to check your free/busy times so prospects can see your available consultation slots and so we can avoid double-booking.
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.settings.readonly: read calendar settings. Used to read your calendar's timezone so we can display appointment times correctly in your local time.

How We Use Google Data

Google Calendar data is accessed on demand only to power the scheduling features of the Service. We do not use Google user data for advertising, do not sell it, do not transfer it to third parties for purposes unrelated to the Service, and do not allow humans to read your Google data, except (a) where you give us specific permission for an individual support request, (b) where required to comply with applicable law, (c) where necessary for security investigations or to investigate a violation of our terms, or (d) in aggregated or anonymized form for internal operational purposes such as debugging.

How We Store Google Data

We store only the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google, which allow Joules to make Calendar API calls on your behalf. We do not cache or persist the contents of your calendar events on our servers. Calendar API requests are made in real time when the application needs the data. OAuth tokens are stored encrypted at rest in our database and are scoped to your account.

How to Revoke Access

You can revoke Joules's access to your Google Calendar at any time by either:

  • Using the disconnect option within the Joules mobile or web application (Profile or Settings → Google Calendar → Disconnect), which deletes your OAuth tokens from our database.
  • Visiting your Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions and removing Joules from the list of connected apps.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights and Choices

  • Access and Correction: You may access, update, or delete your account information via the Service.
  • California Residents (CCPA): If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to request disclosure of personal information collected, categories of sources and sharing, deletion (subject to exceptions), and opt-out of sales (though we do not sell data).
